Happy 4^th of July to All Our Fans.......

The summer is in full swing and we take this weekend to recognize our independence as Americans and honor the men & women that fight to preserve our freedoms.  It’s a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends and enjoy all that we have as Americans.

John Force Racing will also be taking some time off this weekend, as the teams get ready for the upcoming NHRA “Western Swing” Tour of three races in three weeks.  The tour could be a defining moment for whichever team can be consistent in the coming weeks.  All JFR Teams are hoping for a sweep of the Western Swing.  New rule changes regarding funny car chassis’, a new Goodyear tire and the shortening of the racing distance will all be challenges facing every team.

ASHLEY FORCE NOMINATED FOR 2008 ESPN ESPY AWARD – Ashley Force and Tony Schumacher from the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series have been nominated for this prestigious award.  The ESPY Awards, for Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly, were created by ESPN in 1993.
